[LLM generated] This album cover for the Sim City 2000 Remastered Soundtrack features a stylized, somewhat retro-futuristic illustration. In the foreground, a large, metallic, multi-legged flying saucer hovers, appearing to overlook a sprawling metropolis in the background. The cityscape is rendered in a monochromatic, steel blue and sepia-toned palette, depicting numerous skyscrapers and a mountainous landscape under a vast sky. Below the main image, text indicates "Original Score by Sue Kasper" and "Lovingly Remastered by Seph Carissa," all set against a muted, textured background.

Sim City 2000 OST Remastered

I kept the compositions intact, only tinkered a lot with instrumentation and mixing. Occasionally I added more interesting drums, inserted a grace note here and there and overall tried to strike the perfect balance between faithful to the original and up to today’s listening sensibilities.

The track numbering starts from 0 as they reflect the original MIDI file names sans the "100" in front. So Track 0 is 10000.MID, Track 1 is 10001.MID and so on. 10016.MID and 10005.MID only differ in their instruments, hence the gap in the track numbers. Also, the song titled “Acid Land” is not present in my source files (which all date back to October 29, 1994). But, honestly, it’s not a great song, you’re not missing out 😅
